Rocky Mountain SABR
Welcome to the website of the Rocky Mountain chapter of SABR, the Society for American Baseball Research.
Founded in 1971 at Cooperstown, New York, it has chapters worldwide. SABR is a non-profit organization of baseball researchers and scholars, dedicated to the study and interpretation of baseball history as a significant American institution. One of the more active chapters in the country, Rocky Mountain SABR holds 22 events each year. They include chapter meetings, Games-of-the-Month during baseball season, monthly luncheons year round and our annual banquet each November. Each summer there is a SABR national convention held in a different city every year.
