Troy Renck’s continued assault on the English language
In a review of the movie “Sugar”, Mr. Renck wrote:
“This is not to illicit sympathy”
The difference between the words illicit and elicit should be known to anyone writing for a living.

I’m not sure who’d be to blame more for that: Troy, or his editor at the Post. Someone should’ve caught it though.
